About This Tool

Cloud Storage Cost Estimator for Startups

Why I Built This

As someone who constantly thinks about the financial aspects of running digital services, I noticed that many founders struggle to estimate one of their biggest potential costs: cloud storage expenses.

When you're starting a new project or company, it's hard to predict how much you'll need to budget for storage costs. Will it be $100/month? $1,000? $10,000? This uncertainty can make financial planning difficult.

I created this calculator to give entrepreneurs, developers, and product managers a quick way to estimate their cloud storage costs based on their specific needs. It's not perfect, but it provides a solid starting point for budgeting.

How It Helps Startups

This tool is particularly useful for:

The calculator considers different types of data (audio, video, documents, etc.), retention periods, and access patterns to give you a realistic monthly cost estimate as your data grows over time.

About Me

I'm Deepak Ranolia, someone who obsesses over the financial details that make or break digital products. I believe understanding costs is just as important as building features.

As someone currently bootstrapping my own projects, I know how crucial it is to estimate expenses accurately. This tool came from my own need to understand storage costs for my projects.

I'm not currently employed by any company - I'm focused on creating useful tools and hoping to build something meaningful. If you find this calculator helpful, please consider supporting my work.
